medieval banquet

Samhain (Sah-win) in Ireland, is the old start of the year on the night from October 31st to November 1st. Join us as we feast & honor Ireland’s bond with food in times of plenty and famine. Acknowledging with joy, food, story telling, music & dance in hopes of preserving and fostering the very best of Irish traditions.

Be a part of the tales and songs of days gone by in Medieval Ireland on Saturday October 28, 2016 at 7 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church’s Benvegnu Center (1375 Spring Lane, SLC, UT 84117), the cost is $40 per person. This is a favored event not to be missed and tickets sell out quickly by word-of-mouth. We will feast, toast old Ireland and celebrate our heritage within the walls of an ancient castle with shields and banners heralding our ancestral clans. If you have come before, you KNOW how much fun this is….and if you have not come, you are in for a real treat. Costumes are great craic, but not absolutely required. Please RSVP by Saturday, October 21, 2017 to Michael Donovan. Payments can be made at the door or at irishinutah.org, please make sure to specify the event you paying for.
