Poetry Night

By admin The Hibernian Blog • February 2, 2020

Join us as we celebrate an evening of Irish heritage, culture, history and traditions with “A Night with the Irish Poets” on Saturday, February 29th.
The doors open at 6:30pm and the readings will begins at 7:00pm with light refreshments being served.

The entrance is at the north ground floor door. The event is free to the public although we do ask for a donation of food for the food pantry at St. Mark’s. The King’s English Bookstore will have an array of Irish literature for sale as well as vendors, who will have Celtic gifts.

We are in need of volunteers to setup at 5:30pm and we will need a few people to put chairs away and clean up at the end. We are also in need of two TIPS certified bartenders. If you are able to bring Irish soda bread, cheese, crackers, or Irish shortbread, please contact Kathleen Kaufman (kathleenkaufman2008 @gmail.com).
